Victoria Teunissen is a wife and mother of three children who moved to Colorado from the Chicago land area in 1998. While moving to Colorado was actually "moving back home" for her husband Frank, Victoria felt more like a pioneer moving to a land she was unfamiliar with. Learning of Colorado's grace and beauty never ceases to amaze her.
Victoria's background and qualifications allow her to be an exceptional Training and Development specialist. Victoria actually first found her calling in training and development quite by accident. In the mid 1990's while working as a customer service representative, she was asked one day to fill in for a trainer that was not able to complete a course for a class.
Without any prior notice she was able to take charge of the class and was able to successfully deliver a well prepared workforce to the floor. The director of training was so impressed with her ability to think and deliver on her feet, that she was offered the job as a trainer within two weeks. Co-workers called her a "natural" and trainees deemed her "extremely helpful and knowledgeable".
After getting settled in Colorado in the late 1990's, Victoria found she wanted to expand her knowledge and skill set. So she took on a job with a rather small company in 2000 that had an opportunity to hone her customer and training skills. While filling a dual role of Trainer and Tech Support, she spearheaded the inception of both the Training and Technical Support departments. She set the pace, expectations and long range goals for her teammates, and Victoria's goal of a seamless team built of members with exceptional service and management skills came to fruition. As a result of her success, she was able to not only move into a more senior role of Account Manager, but she became the Subject Matter Expert for the Account Management team and for other Ceridian business units.
Victoria finds she does not like to sit still though. To expand on a skill set previously used in the training environment Victoria has delved into the world of Voice Acting. Since 2008, Victoria continuously takes on voice acting contract projects ranging from infomercials to audio books to PC Gaming. Her more recent voice over work can be seen on an infomercial for Harvest Christian Center which is shown regularly on TV in the Denver Metro area.
